We have approval to set up a tables outside of Chaparral to collect signatures this week (Sept 27 – 30). Volunteers are needed to work a table for 45-60 minutes every morning from 8-9 am and on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons from 2:45 to 3:30.
Two locations: outside the Kindergarten gate on the Tannin Side of school and outside the Montero gate. Volunteers need to bring their own table and materials. Most important, volunteers may not approach parents. They must wait for parents to approach them.

Poway Mayor Don Higginson confirmed today that the October 4, 2011 City Council meeting agenda will include discussion about installing a 4-way stop sign at the intersection of Valle Verde and Solera/Vinter. We need to show the Council that we, the residents of Poway, support the stop sign in addition to the traffic calming measures that were already approved.

Please gather as many signatures you possibly can. Please make sure that they list out if they are a parent with a child in a PUSD school. This is important for those people that will be signing the petition that do not live in Poway proper.
